Brittany Ranew: The Relocation Expert of Tampa Bay

Brittany Ranew

Brittany Ranew is a Licensed Realtor and Certified Relocation Expert with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. In 2015, Brittany moved to Southwest Florida from Mobile, Alabama. “It was a leap of faith for me to move to St. Pete because we didn’t know a soul. It was so overwhelming,” says Brittany. Experiencing the stress of moving across state lines made her realize how important it is to have someone in a transplant’s corner. Brittany and her husband Stephen had to go it alone, but she wanted to make sure she became that connection for people moving to the area. That’s how Brittany became The Relocation Expert of Tampa Bay. “I do understand exactly how people who have uprooted their whole lives feel. I want to give them the resources that they need.”

Working for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty is another example of her commitment to her clients. “I absolutely love the level of excellence in customer service. I can refer someone to any Sotheby’s agent across the world, and I know that they’re going to be treated the same way I would treat them,” says Brittany. As a realtor, Brittany helps people buy their dream home or sell their home to the right person by tapping into her network of local businesses and leaders within the community. She loves helping families make a smooth and enjoyable transition.

During the seven years that Brittany has lived in St. Pete, she has proven to be a leader in the community. Brittany created and hosts the St. Pete Soul Podcast. “There’s a strong spirit of entrepreneurship here. I know people who own businesses here, so it just felt like a natural progression for me to want to sit down with them and get their stories out there. St. Pete is a big city with a small-town vibe, which is why it’s so special.” Brittany was already making recommendations to her real estate clients about the best local spots, so doing the podcast brought those recommendations to the next level.

“I want to help local businesses tell their stories and showcase what makes St. Pete special,” says Brittany. “I want to take my listeners, new transplants or firmly planted, on a journey around St. Pete to help them discover hidden treasures and re-discover classics. Local businesses are the heart and soul of any thriving community, whether it’s a new restaurant or brewery or classic staples that have stood the test of time.” The podcast is the perfect collaboration between Brittany and the St. Pete community. It’s proven to be a fantastic way for businesses to gain local exposure and make connections with the community.

Brittany’s website not only houses her real estate information and podcast, but she also writes a blog filled with helpful advice on buying and selling a home, promotion of local businesses, community events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities, as well as helpful advice for keeping a positive mindset. Brittany designed her website to be a wealth of information for people considering a move to Tampa Bay. People outside of Florida may not know that St. Petersburg is no longer a town for retirees. The city has become a wonderful mix of people of all ages, enriched with history, art, and culture. Brittany’s attention to these details showcases, once again, her desire to help her clients relocate successfully.

“We absolutely loved our experience with Brittany! She made you feel like you were her only client with her attentiveness and responsiveness. We were so impressed and calmed by her reassuring and positive vibe. Brittany made a daunting and stressful experience smooth and painless. She provided us with sound guidance, advice, and insight, and we are thrilled with our new home,” says JB, one of Brittany’s former clients.

Another way Brittany gives back is by serving on the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce, where she is involved in advocacy for local businesses and participates in charity and community service projects. Any way you look at it, Brittany is a valuable resource to Tampa Bay. She is immersed in the community in which she lives and works and supports its local businesses.

For fun, Brittany frequents the Disney parks as an Annual Passholder. Another favorite pastime is attending Tampa Bay Rays games at Tropicana Field with her husband. They also enjoy playing tennis, kayaking and having fun in the sun with their two energetic golden retrievers, Piper and Parker.
